Several club members have already received this SCAM email. If you do, PLEASE DISREGARD IT AND TRASH IT.

IT IS A SCAM

While it appears to be 'signed' by our Club President, please check the originating email address in the header information (orgpres@mmsmns.com). This is not our President's email address.

Obviously someone has been trolling around our site in order to gain enough truthful information about us, to give their email some credibility.

The email that looks like:

Springwater Rod & Gun Club, needs some gift cards for donation to Veterans at Hospice and Palliative care units for preventive items against Corona Virus Disease ( COVID-19).
I have decided to make it a personal duty. I will be responsible for the reimbursement.

Thanks for writing back and wanting to help. This is a simple donation as part of a charity pledge to the Veterans made on behalf of the Club, I have decided to make it a personal duty & I will be liable for the refund.
I need you to purchase varieties of Walmart,Nordstrom or Target gift cards which total $600. 6ty of $100 each. You can get them at any Kohls, CVS, Kwik, Macy's, Wal-Mart, or Walgreen's, Drug stores, and any convenience Stores or Online E-codes.
I tried purchasing the cards online myself but my credit card company is denying the immediate approval. I'll be responsible for the reimbursement of cards bought. Will a check be fine for a refund?
Take the pictures of the pin #'s and send to Veterans Hospice Palliative Care notify me when it's done and have me copied on the mail.
