- Practice all gun safety rules.

- NO Rifle Calibers
- No Exploding Targets.
- Eye & ear protection required.
- No alcohol on ranges while any

  shooting is in progress.
- Being under the influence of drugs of

  alcohol while shooting is prohibited.
- All ranges are closed to other

  shooters while an organized shooting 

  event is in progress.
- Clean up all brass/casings and 

  targets.  Leave the range as clean or 

  cleaner than you found it.
- Only members can use the ranges.  

  Guest(s) may accompany a member 

  to the range only once.  After that one

  time, guest(s) must become a member.
- Handguns only on the pistol range.
- Proof of membership is required when 

  using any of the ranges.
 
Violation of Rules

Any unsafe practices or any violation of club rules will be brought before the club’s officers, directors and/or membership for disciplinary action.

The defensive pistol matches are similar to IDPA pistol matches but the regulations are not as strict (other than safety, safety is our top priority).

 This match is open to members and non-members, “newbies” welcome (we are happy to have new shooters and spectators).

 There will be a safety briefing at 9:15 am at the pistol range, if you plan on participating, make sure to be at the range prior to 9:15am. The match will start at 9:30 sharp. Depending on the number of participants, the match should be completed no later than noon.

What equipment is needed:

-Eye and ear protection
-A pistol, in good working order, semi-automatic or revolver
-An outside, or inside, the waist band holster
-2-3 magazines or speed loaders, 4 is recommended if possible
-60-80 rounds of appropriate ammunition NO MAGNUM OR +P LOADS
-Magazine or speed loader pouches/holders (optional but highly recommended)


 Starting this year, we will have 4 “divisions” of competitors

** You can shoot in more than 1 division per competition

 
Stock:
A full sized semi-automatic pistol, some modifications allowed such as sights, mag well, trigger, and other minor modifications. 9mm or above in caliber

Enhanced:
Full sized or “oversized” pistol, with major modifications, including compensated barrels, extended mag/slide releases, aftermarket slide cuts, extended barrels, etc.  Basically, heavily modified pistols, commonly referred to as race or open class pistols. 9mm or above in caliber


Compact or Sub-Compact:
Smaller pistols, includes compact and sub-compact guns, typically carry 7 or less rounds per magazine, no caliber restrictions other than no magnum, shotgun, 50 caliber, intermediate cartridge rounds (5.7), etc.


Revolver:
Self explanatory


 

The entry fee is $10 per person, AND starting this year if you want to shoot a 2nd gun, from one of the other divisions explained above, you can, the “entry fee” the additional entry is $5

 

There may be prizes for the first place finishes, in each division, providing we have 4 or more competitors in that division.   We are currently working with a possible sponsor currently.

 

Spectators are welcome, but eye and ear protection are required for spectators as well.
